Seminar Series: Creating an Export Compliance Management Program

Is your company protected? Are you at risk of violations of U.S. export controls?

If you don’t already have an Export Compliance Management Program (ECMP) in place or have one that is not updated, you and/or your employees may want to attend the upcoming seminars this June on Creating an Export Compliance Management Program!

Export Compliance is a major issue for any company involved in international business. Even if your company primarily imports, you are most likely also involved in exporting. Do you and your employees know the rules and regulations?

In this upcoming Series of seminars in June, participants will gain a clear understanding of U.S. Export regulations and how to create and implement an ECMP for their company. Taught by export control experts, this hands-on series will provide guidance in how to apply the regulations to your company’s products and activities and provide a necessary insurance against possible unintentional violations of the law.

Having an Export Compliance Management Program (ECMP) in place is a great mitigating factor should your company ever be found to have violated U.S. Export Regulations under the EAR (Export Administration Regulations) or ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). Oftentimes the violations are not intentional, but can still be punishable with fines and penalties for both the company and the responsible individual.

Classes start in two weeks so sign up now!

  2. Thursday, June 15 – Jurisdiction and Classification
